Tropical Heat Sweet & Spicy Margarita

Ingredients

The Cocktail

  • 2 oz Blanco tequila
  • 1 oz Cointreau (or quality triple sec)
  • 1 oz Fresh lime juice
  • 1 oz Pineapple juice (fresh-pressed preferred)
  • ½ oz Agave nectar (or honey syrup)
  • 2 Fresh jalapeño slices
  • Ice (shaken, not blended)

The Bearded Touch

  • ½ tsp BEARDED BUZZ Seasoning
  • 3–5 drops TROPICAL HEAT Hot Sauce

Rim Mix

  • Coarse salt
  • BEARDED BUZZ Seasoning
  • Mix 50/50 ratio

Garnish

  • Pineapple wedge or grilled spear
  • Jalapeño ring
  • Pinch of seasoning (optional)
Pro tip: Fresh-pressed pineapple juice makes all the difference. If using store-bought, reach for 100% juice with no added sugar.

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Rim

Moisten the rim of a rocks or margarita glass with fresh lime juice. Dip into your 50/50 blend of coarse salt and BEARDED BUZZ Seasoning. Set aside.

  2. Build the Cocktail

In a cocktail shaker, combine: tequila, Cointreau, lime juice, pineapple juice, agave nectar, ½ tsp BEARDED BUZZ Seasoning, 3–5 drops of TROPICAL HEAT Hot Sauce, and 2 jalapeño slices.

  3. Shake It Up

Add ice to the shaker. Shake vigorously for 15–20 seconds until well-chilled and the outside of the shaker is frosty cold.

  4. Strain & Serve

Double strain over fresh ice into your seasoned-rim glass. This removes the jalapeño bits and any ice chips for a smooth pour.

  5. Garnish

Float a thin pineapple wedge or grilled pineapple spear with a jalapeño ring on top. Optional: dust a pinch of BEARDED BUZZ over the foam or rim.

Finish line: Serve immediately. The ice dilution is part of the balance — don’t let it sit.
