Quick Questions

Is this real Damascus steel?

Yes. The layered pattern isn’t printed or etched on — it’s forged through 67 alternating steel layers. XinZuo’s authentic forging technique delivers both the visual pattern and structural integrity.

How do I care for the knife?

Hand wash only. Rinse, dry immediately, and never leave in water. Hone regularly and use quality stones for sharpening. Store in a knife block, magnetic strip, or sheath.

Why end-grain over edge-grain?

End-grain boards allow the blade to pass between wood fibers rather than cutting across them. This protects your edge, lets the board self-heal, and extends the life of both board and knife.

How do I maintain the cutting board?

Hand wash with mild soap, dry immediately, and stand upright to air dry. Oil monthly with food-grade mineral oil to prevent drying and cracking. Never soak or put in dishwasher.

This Blade Speaks To The True Craftsman

Not the gimmick seeker. For those who understand that prep is part of the craft, not an afterthought.
